The whole kollywood industry, tamil cinema artists has requested the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Dr. M. Karunanidhi to rename the Eldam's road in Chennai as Dr. Kamal Haasan road for his continuous and excellent service in the cinema industry for the past 50 years. Padmashree Dr. Kamal Haasan has done various roles in the tamil movies and also performed in more number of regional films.
